I started Foxhunt Vintage for many reasons. I've always had a bit of an entrepreneurial spirit, and when I decided I needed to teach myself how to make a website, the idea of opening up a vintage shop seemed natural. I'd been buying vintage for years, and have been excitedly watching the multitude of online vintage shops opening up. It's important to me that the site remain independent; while there are some fantastic shops on eBay, I've grown pretty tired of watching, jaw dropped, as things sell for massively inflated prices because of the time-based auction format. I want my shop to be somewhere to find hand-picked, affordable items.

Foxhunt has been an immense learning experience for me; everything you see is the result of trial and error, and I am still learning as I go. In the spirit of that, I want to support those who are taking the same risks - designers, models, photographers who need a place to showcase their talent. So if you are a creative type who's looking for something to fill out their portfolio, or for a place to sell their wares, drop me a line!

My name's Jen, and I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada. I adore music of most kinds - currently I'm into Tom Waits, the Modern Lovers, Birthday Party, and my dad's old soul and surf records. I enjoy David Shrigley, Brigitte Bardot, and anything to do with Bill Murray. I don't spend nearly enough time drawing and painting as i'd like.
